I am (was) preparing for stamp camp tonight and wanted to take a minute to share a really fun tip about dying ribbon. I love ribbon! I especially love Stampin' Up! taffeta ribbon because it is soft, supple and easy to dye. Tonight, at stamp camp, we are using Ivory taffeta ribbon dyed with Tempting Turquoise reinker. If you are impatient like me, it's hard to wait on anything to dry. So I found a great way to speed up the process. The only supplies you need are a coffee mug and a heat gun. Take a lookie:
Now, isn't that fun? The mug and heat gun make a very tiny tumble dryer for the ribbon. It dries quickly. Try it next time you have ribbon to dye.
AND - don't forget the BLOG CANDY in the post below!!!
happy stampin'

It's like a party in a cup!
I have yet to dye ribbon- not up to taking the time (instant gratification kinda gal). Now I will have to give it a try! Thanks for the tip.
That's great I am definitely going to have to try it.
