Local Crop for a good cause

I posted info about this crop last month, but now the official advertising has begun, so I wanted to add another post for this wonderful group. My BFF and I have already made our reservations, and it would be such fun if there were other ladies from our area attending!

Momas Crop for Marty is a charity crop being held at The Cottages at Brushy Creek in Greer, SC on Saturday April 25th from 10am-10pm. The cost is $25 which includes 3 meals, snacks and drinks, a goody bag for all, and hourly prize winnings. There will also be offered free rubberstamp and scrapbook make n takes, and Fiskars product demos throughout the day. And a vendor will be available on site.

The funds raised at this event will go toward making photo ready memory books that will be given to Mom's who have lost an infant child, right here in the Upstate. Our goal is to raise enough money to be able to provide 50 completed books to meet this year's need at Carolina Perinatal Hospice and some at March of Dimes
Upstate division.

To register contact Sondra Bright. Payment is by cash check or money order to Sondra Bright (who will hold your spot until your monies have time to arrive), or by debit or credit at the Funkie Munkie store. If you pay at the store, you still need to contact Sondra to register. We need to know if you are planning to sit with anyone or if you need an electrical outlet (20 available first come first serve). Due to the nature of this event, all monies received are non-refundable.

An organization that coordinates volunteer paper artists who make and donate cards and photo-ready scrapbooks to several interest groups. “Momas” volunteers are ministers of memory and script to such groups as soldiers stationed overseas, Alzheimer/dementia patients, Special Olympians, foster children, Hospice Moms, and Moms who have lost an infant child.
